Boa Amponsem Senior High School currently which ranks as category “is” school according to Ghana Education (Service G.E.S) ratings runs five major programme namely, General Arts, General Science, Business, Home Economics and Visual Arts.
The department of General Science offer the various courses in the school. Namely Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Information Communication and Technology, Elective Mathematics and Geography as their elective subjects including the four core subjects. The department hold students of four hundred (400) with twenty teachers and head of department.
